How do you get a Girl Friend, to become a girlfriend? Advice, tips, and info please.?

For those of you who were friends first, then became something more, how did you do it? And what advice would you give to someone else? I realize it takes time, patience, and some hard work, but I'm sure it was def. worth it in the long run, if it lasted... But whether it did or not, how do you transition from the friends, to best friends, to more then friends? What advice could you pass on? This girl and I are close. We dated for alittle bit, but she wasn't ready for it. But we both agreed the feelings are there, just no romance yet. I love her very much, but until she is comfetable with her own feelings, things wont change. I would like them too, but in the end I know she has to make that decision. But I know the feelings are there in her, Just what Can I do to show her its okay to make that choice? She's very private so its not easy, but she's totally worth it. So please offer some advice. Please don't tell me to move on, even if you think so, I will make that choice, when and if I see the need to, and you don't really know the whole situation. get progressively closer and closer to her. hug her more. joke around more. put your arm around her sumtimes. you kno like hat kind of stuff. after a little bit she'll realize that she likes that and that's what she wants and then she'll finaly be ready to move on and become sumthing more with you

u both have to feel the same way and if both of u do then it should be easy..if she doesnt then dont push it on her...give her time or else it just ruins whatever u have
