HEY!!!, I'm a drummer!!! and yes, if you practice alot you can become awesome, like my band. Our bass player has never had a lesson and yet making up our own songs and music he sounds like hes been playing forever!!!! Just practice at least 2-3 times a week and who knows how famous you'll get!!!

Maybe Korn or Mettallica will be asking for autographs???

Who knows!?Pls give me some advice and tips. im starting a rock metal band!?
It's always AWESOME fun being in a band. Don't set your hopes too high for the first few weeks - learn some songs by other people, so that you can get used to playing together, and make sure you let people hear you, right at the beginning.

There's nothing worse than convincing yourselves that you sound great, and going on to write your own music, without realising that you actually sound like pancake batter.

But yeah, good luck!
yess ....after practicing for awhile i think it will probaly turn out well...
Don't go alternative!! Overpowering flat vocals simply don't do any justice--and the alternative bands embracing them all sound like punk monkeys on crack. And if you think they sound bad in the studio, they're tenfold worse live.

Don't allow guitars to sound ';chroma metal';, like EVERYBODY does. Experiment with the bluesy sound guitars can make. Guitars can make many different sounds--but you have to have the balls to discover them.

Metal is good.....but why close your audience target to one small fan base? Work with your band's sound and attract WIDE audiences who like different sounds.

Remember: you and your bandmates are ARTISTS.....so sound like them and do so as ORIGINALS--not copy-cats.
Make sure the rest of the members know how to play good.
Buy a good pair of ear plugs for everyone in the band!
