a perfect thing to do is go up to a woman who you would like to talk to and give her a compliment and just walk away...basically your trying to be friendly and not too overpowering...she would rather have someone who is harder to reach, so walking away would make her come after you. You probably should just chill out for a while instead of moving on since it was such a serious relationship. You could try flirting with your eyes and smile. Don't stare at them but once you make eye contact, smile friendly and look away. You could also compliment her on her personality or looks, but only if you mean it.
